Rocky Mountain Gun Owners endorses Bob Dalley for Sheriff (100%)
Today, Rocky Mountain Gun Owners Super PAC is proud to announce the endorsement of Bob Dalley for Mesa County Sheriff as the 100% pro-gun option for Mesa County Sheriff.
“We are proud to endorse Bob in his race for Mesa County Sheriff,” said Taylor Rhodes, Director of RMGO SuperPAC. “Anyone who has ever met Bob knows his commitment to his community and the constitution of our great State and Country,” said Rhodes.
“We are thrilled to support Bob in his campaign to represent the people of Mesa County as their Sheriff. The Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer of the county and a critical elected official – especially to gun owners in a state that is under attack. Bob has demonstrated through his extensive experience within law enforcement that he knows his role as a badged officer is to be the protector of our rights, not the dictator of them,” said Rhodes. “Bob has consistently and openly opposed – and refused to enforce – “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation laws, arbitrary magazine capacity restrictions, so-called ‘assault weapons’ bans, and all other legislative attacks on our right to keep and bear arms. More so, Bob understands our Second Amendment freedoms are under attack at an unprecedented level in Colorado. That’s why he has vowed to protect our rights, scoring a 100% on the official RMGO Sheriff’s Candidate Questionnaire. If you value your right to keep and bear arms, Bob Dalley is the ONLY choice for Mesa County Sheriff,” said Rhodes.
Dalley formally challenges Sheriff to (3) open, public debates

I am sending this in the interest of transparency and involvement of the community. It is the right of the citizen to be informed about their elected officials. This knowledge allows citizens to have input on the future direction of their government through the elected officials they select to represent them.
Again, this year electors are being asked to choose between two candidates, neither of which have previously been elected by the voters. That fact makes it crucial to provide a platform which allows them to vet the candidates and determine their positions on matters important to each voter.
For these reasons, I am challenging you to a series of three debates which serve to inform and educate the citizens of Mesa County on these important issues facing them.
The direction and operation of each county agency directly impacts the lives of each citizen, and they deserve the ability to make an informed decision when time to vote.
I am proposing three debates, each with a different main theme. Each debate would be moderated by a mutually agreed upon group or organization with the first debate starting on or before April 23rd.
I propose the second debate occur in May with the third on or before June 11th to afford the voters an opportunity to learn more before the ballots mailed the week of June 6th.
I request a response to this challenge by April 11th to give time to facilitate selecting a mutually agreeable moderator and venue. Please respond directly to Bob Dalley or Mike Nevins (Campaign Manager).
Update on Debates with Current Appointed Sheriff
Although we have tried to engage the current appointed Sheriff, he has refused every offer for an honest, PUBLIC debate of the issues facing the citizen's of Mesa County. This is unfortunate because the people of Mesa County deserve a right to vett their Sheriff. So, we are hosting a number of "Town Halls" to discuss and allow you, the citizens of Mesa County to ask questions of Bob Dalley who is running for Sheriff of Mesa County. The Next one is May 31st, In Clifton. Please check out the "Events" page for details.
